eClerx Digital - Analytic's End of Fiscal Roundup

It’s no secret that the past couple of years have thrown obstacle after obstacle at all of us. But, we didn’t let that stop our progress.   In fact, we are proud to announce that 2021 was our strongest year yet!   From investing in emerging technologies to upskilling and growing our global teams to tackling initiatives to support our clients, partners, and communities, we never wavered in being the leader we are.

2021 WAS OUR STRONGEST YEAR Thanks to outstanding performances across the board, our team has overcome challenges at the beginning of the year marked by reduced client spend and struggles to support certain clients with work from home.

Our Digital Business rebounded from the roller coaster of 2020, adding 30 new clients including:

Performance of Customer Operations, Digital, & Markets Business Expansion: Our Analytics business expanded across large accounts, and we welcomed two new clients. Our five key service lines—product data, competitor intelligence, computer-generated imagery (CGI), campaign operations, and customer analytics— have all performed well. The last two even experienced over thirty percent growth in the year. In addition, we grew our markets operations books with a Fortune 500 Financial Services company by transitioning work away from the offshore business unit, and we expanded both onshore and offshore consulting services at two Top 5 Investment Banking Institutions. Client lifestyle and data operations again proved to be our fastest-growing businesses due to increased work for a Top 10 Global Banking Institution and wins in the field of Investment Banking across countries such as the UK, New Zealand, and the USA.

Throughout our Process Automation service, we saw increased demand across key clients and several Fortune 2000 companies. We experienced success selling services embedding our platforms—notably, Compliance Manager, DocIntel, Merchandiser+, Workforce Manager, and FLUiiD4—and an increasing percentage of our engagements moved towards the managed service model leveraging such tools. As a testament to our success, last year, a growing number of offshore captive organizations asked us to support them with consulting, development, and testing.

Investing in our Employees, the Environment, & the Community

Our agile business model allowed us to adjust quickly and adapt to the challenges of working from home to provide our clients with the best service possible. We invested in essential tools and connectivity to service clients and protocols to oversee risk management and quality. This helped us process over 70,000 applications, onboard more than 4,000 employees—nearly half of whom were women—and transition new client business with zero client premises meetings.

PARTNERSHIP & SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMS

We consistently focus on training and education. Over the last year, we developed new online training programs and delivered over two million hours of training to our staff across Data Visualization, Robotics, Machine Learning, and Cloud Technologies. We also rolled out our new virtual Rewards, Recognition, and Enablement programs, fit for the new virtual world.

Our Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, & Efficiency

Environment Health & Safety — Initiatives Taken

As a firm, we continued our tradition of fiscal conservatism and exited the year with just under USD 100 mm in cash. Our financial prudence remains a great comfort for our clients, as we ensure that we can comfortably withstand unforeseen business circumstances, as adeptly demonstrated during the COVID-19 crisis.

COVID-19 impacted our CSR partners significantly over the year, leading to the closure of schools and workplaces and less funding from sponsors. Our partners showed remarkable resilience in the face of these obstacles by innovating digital channels for training to ensure children continued to be supported. We worked to help in new ways and volunteered over 5,000 hours online. Together, we helped over 20,000 vulnerable individuals through our efforts. At Personiv, we engaged across fifteen community service projects, including installing solar panels at six institutions, delivering computers to ten schools, and providing many ration kits and first aid boxes. We also redoubled our commitment to sustainability. This was aided by the reduction in travel and office use, resulting in a substantial decrease in electricity, water, and materials consumption. With sustained work from home (and the addition of Personiv), we had an opportunity to rationalize our office footprint across the globe, allowing for overall reductions.

Discontinuation of plastic bottles and switch to glass bottles across all locations throughout cafeterias, meeting rooms, and client areas.

Installation of technologically advanced hand dryers with minimal decibel levels to conserve energy and reduce queuing time.

Use of motion sensing light controls in washrooms, meeting rooms, and client areas to conserve energy.

Use of bio blocks to conserve water and curb the use of harmful chemicals during washroom cleaning.

Installation of automated foam dispensers which facilitate water conservation and provide better hygiene standards

Conversion of all manual taps to aerator- equipped censor taps in cafeterias, washrooms, and client areas to conserve water.
